“Holy” Abortion

I read this and wanted to throw up.

[Imagine] abortion centers allow each woman to create the chosen abortion experience for herself … From choosing the kind of lighting … to arranging for specific music that she would like to hear, the woman creates the space in which she will experience her abortion. … [Imagine a] woman's religious and/or spiritual preferences are not only respected, but are honored, with specially designed [abortion] rooms where a woman might receive spiritual guidance by clergy or a spiritual guide of the woman's choosing. She may create a ceremony with which to honor this passage, to be performed during the abortion or afterwards with family and friends in attendance. … She may have a circle of women friends take part in the procedure itself – an ancient ritual of fertility, life, death and rebirth. …

Some of these abortuaries can't even provide a clean environment!

These pro aborts. They coated the killing of unborn children with the veneer of "choice" and shoved it down our throats for decades. They marched for it, celebrated it, and made it legal. Yet, these things are not enough. Now they want abortion to be "holy".

Well, they can create whatever "ceremony" they want to appease their conscience. They can rub a thousand bowls or do cartwheels, wiggle their ears or do the hokey pokey.

Abortion will never be sanctified. Never.

Its tragic how many of those pregnancies are out of wedlock by young girls who shouldnt even be having sex..or most likely being “used’ for sex!..sad sad.

And Planned Parenthood opposes abstinence-based sex education.

The peer pressure is horrendous. It's bad enough when the boyfriends pressure girls into sex, but many of the girls make a mockery of chastity. I know. I've heard it. I'm the mother of a teen daughter and this is one of the many, many reasons I took her out of public school and decided to homeschool her two years ago. I did not wish my daughter to be caught up in the lie that sex out of wedlock is okay.

Sad, too, is when a girl ends up as my patient fighting an infection or suffering from severe blood loss from a botched abortion, her reproductive future tenuous. Many of these girls, if not all of them, are mentally screwed up, in denial, jaded. One young lady I will always remember in particular. She was 19 years old, and already a gravida 7. Nineteen, and GRAVIDA 7! In other words she has already had seven pregnancies. They all ended in abortions, the final one almost killing her. Parents are worried, angry at the situation, ashamed for failing, filled with questions. It is heartbreaking, and I sympathize, believe me I do.

Yes, I agree with you, that they are being used. The men (many are adult aged) are conspicuously absent, either at the bedside, or in the discussion. They should be in jail but they're not. Why is that? Judges handing out 60-day sentences? Judges having arbitrary height requirements to go to prison? And those young men who are also in their teens? Are they not accountable? I'm not embarrassed to say that I would have beaten the living crap out of my teen son if I ever had found out he did that to a girl (just for the record, no, he hasn't ).

Yet making abortion as some sort of spiritual experience by feminist leaders like Debi Jackson is disgusting. It is just one more lie, pretentious, phoney. I stand by what I said: abortion will never be sanctified.

Sorry this is fragmented. It's after two AM and I still have a lot of work to do. Thanks for stopping by. =^)

    Respectfully,

    Elizabeth
