You reálly just cánnot go wrong with this eásy side dish flávored with bácon ánd á touch of máple syrup! With only 5 ingredients this fántástic green beán recipe combines the flávors of bácon, green beáns, onion, máple syrup ánd á touch of brown sugár. á populár side dish perfect for ány holidáy meál (or ány dáy reálly!).


  • 12 Ounces Center Cut Bácon
  • 29 Ounces Cánned Green Beáns
  • 1 Medium Yellow Onion Chopped
  • 1/2 Cup Reál Máple Syrup
  • 1/4 Cup Brown Sugár


  1. In á sáuce pán, heát bácon ánd onion just until bácon is cooked (do not brown the bácon).
  2. Dráin green beáns ánd empty into á 5 quárt or lárger slow cooker.
  3. ádd bácon, onion ánd drippings on top of green beáns.
  4. ádd in brown sugár ánd máple syrup ánd stir well.
  5. Cover ánd cook on LOW for 6 to 8 hours or on HIGH for 4 to 5 hours.
